Accessibility
Accessibility is important to us, because digital services should be accessible to everyone – regardless of any limitations. By implementing the requirements of the BaFG (Accessibility Act) and the EN 301 549 standard (based on WCAG 2.1 AA), we ensure that our software solutions are accessible and inclusive. Our aim is to make it easy and accessible for your guests to use your digital services.
Our software solutions have been developed so that they can be used by everyone – regardless of their individual abilities or limitations. The most important features of our software modules are
Online booking module:
Guests are guided step by step through the booking process (e.g. date selection, room selection, entering personal data and payment information). All input steps are clearly described and can be fully operated using the keyboard. Error messages are clearly formulated and contain concrete suggestions for solutions.
Guest app:
The app offers clear menus with information on booking status, additional services and hotel services. There are no time-critical entries, so every user can take their time. All content is simple and clearly structured.
Web widget:
The widget can be operated with both the mouse and the keyboard. Buttons and interactive elements have a high contrast and are clearly labeled. Screen readers can easily capture all content.
Compliance with legal requirements
The widget can be operated with both the mouse and the keyboard. Buttons and interactive elements have a high contrast and are clearly labeled. Screen readers can easily capture all content.
Our software solutions meet the requirements of the BaFG (Annex I) and the EN 301 549 standard, which are based on the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. This includes the following principles:
Perceptibility:
Images and icons have alternative texts.
Videos (e.g. tutorials) are provided with subtitles and transcripts.
Usability:
The entire software can be operated entirely with the keyboard.
There are no unwanted animations or time-critical actions.
Comprehensibility:
We use simple and clear language (e.g. “complete booking” instead of complex technical terms).
Error notes contain clear descriptions and suggested solutions.
Robustness:
Our software is based on the latest web standards (HTML5, WAI-ARIA).
It was tested with common aids such as screen readers and VoiceOver.
Regular maintenance and inspection
We check the accessibility of our software on a regular basis – at least once a year or in the event of legal changes. If necessary, we carry out appropriate updates to ensure compliance with all requirements.
