Stubai Glacier

The Stubai Glacier is one of the largest glacier ski areas in Austria and guarantees snow from October to May. 35 downhill runs of all levels of difficulty ensure that both sporty skiers and pleasure-seekers get their money’s worth.

Eleven lanes

The Elferbahnen lifts right next to us in Neustift offer challenging carving slopes of an impressive width. The valley station is just 100 m from the hotel. Here you can fully enjoy your skiing experience and make sporty turns. The area is compact, clearly laid out and yet offers enough variety for an intensive day of skiing.

Schlick 2000

The Schlick 2000 in the front Stubai Valley impresses with over 25 kilometers of slopes and a particularly beautiful panoramic location. Wide slopes and rustic huts make this ski area particularly varied. Ideal for relaxed yet sporty days of skiing.

Serlesbahnen

The Serles lifts are ideal if you are looking for a quieter day’s skiing and are confident with drag lifts. Wide pistes and a pleasant atmosphere make the area a relaxed alternative in the Stubai Valley.

From our hotel in Neustift, you can reach all four ski areas quickly and easily: Thanks to our central location in Neustift, you can walk to the Elferbahnen valley station in just 100 m. You can reach the three other ski areas with the free ski bus, which starts just 100 m from the hotel. It is precisely this variety right on the doorstep that makes skiing in the Stubai Valley so special.

A successful ski vacation begins even before the first turn:

• Make sure your ski suit is breathable and waterproof – a fresh coat of waterproofing often works wonders.
  Warm, waterproof gloves and breathable ski underwear ensure comfort on the slopes. Choose ski socks of the right height so that there are no pressure points in the ski boot.
• Protect your eyes with well-fitting ski goggles or sunglasses with a high UV filter. Even in winter, the sun is intense on the mountain – sun cream with a high protection factor and good lip protection are therefore a must in your luggage.
• A little preparation at home pays off: With light ski gymnastics and endurance training, you can strengthen your muscles and joints and reduce the risk of injury.
• And if you’re missing equipment, we’ll take care of it for you at the Hotel Tirolerhof in Neustift – so that you can concentrate fully on skiing in the Stubai Valley.
